Scrubbing Away Scrubs

Do any of you out there watch Scrubs? I do. I think it's one of those real rarities. A sitcom that's actually funny. It's also one of those sitcoms that was constantly shafted by NBC which sent it from time slot to time slot, night to night, with no thought as to its audience.

I was hopeful when ABC picked up Scrubs for this season -- partly because ABC produces the show -- and partly because ABC didn't have any good sitcoms. And I was optimistic because ABC was giving it a ton of promotion.

Only...

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

After three weeks, ABC has announced that the show is going off the air for about a month and that will be moved to a different night, to Wednesday's opposite of American Idol. Which means they're setting out to kill the show just like NBC did. Of course, this was supposed to be the last season of the show anyway. But damn, it would have been nice for it to have gotten some respect from a network for once.

Oh well, thanks for letting me rant.

John, off subject.
We did not know how to send you a thank you card so The Booster Club has asked me to thank you for your donation to Kids Unlimited. Thank you John! Please let me know if you'd like a receipt for tax purposes. We could leave it at the game day Booster table. Thanks again!!
